Soft belly power

Conseguenza: ho spostato i pezzi verso oriente.

Sorridendo si carica di soft power, che in Cina scarseggia - se ne rende conto il Presidente Hu Jintao: "the international culture of the West is strong while we are weak..

Ma, "What China seems not to appreciate is that using culture and narrative to create soft power is not easy when they are inconsistent with domestic realities.".

Poi c'è tutto un côté gastronomico. A Xi Jinping nello Iowa offriranno bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin, Angus beef tenderloin, bacon-lettuce-and-tomato bites, and potatoes stuffed with white cheddar. Anche questo fa parte della "narrativa", ricordando il viaggio di Nikita Khrushchev, che nel 1959 entrò "potbelly-first into a cornfield in Coon Rapids, Iowa".

Potbelly-first Xi Jinping lo sarà dopo il pranzo. E ricorderà allora con rammarico quanto affermò alcuni anni orsono“a few foreigners, with full bellies, who have nothing better to do than try to point fingers at our country…. China does not export revolution, hunger or poverty; nor does China cause you any headaches. What else do you want?”

E' tutto collegato, è una cosmo-teleologia circolare.
